The elevator repairman was at work today. Have you ever talked with the elevator repairman or looked down into the hole at the bottom of the elevator? I was talking to the elevator repairman while he was sweeping up the debris at the bottom. Apparently we have a very clean elevator hole compared to most.
It seems that elevator hole cleaning would make a good episode for that Dirty Jobs TV show with Mike Rowe on the Discovery channel. I was then told a little secret – if the elevator hole is clean it means the building is kept clean so if you see elevator repairmen eating at a restaurant you can be pretty much assured the restaurant is clean
