All of your support, be it cards, letters, emails, IM’s, phone calls, or just thinking about me helps me cope with those sad and lonely moments. The tears continue to flow. Maybe a little less often or they are shorter in duration but it still seems there is not an hour (sometimes a minute) that Bette does not come to mind.
I was just looking at the calendar on the refrigerator and noticed a button Bette gave me a few years ago. I feel never were the words more true. It said:
“I’d be lost without my Wife”
